I wish the list of a mountain bike for sale, but useless when it comes to bikes?
I need to know the size of the frame, but not know then how to measure and where to where? You also need the wheel size, but again not sure where to where to measure? Finally, the gears are Shimano, but I do not remember even how many and what type of system, is there any easy way to find out? Thanking you in advance particularly advcance
There is no rule of how to measure frame size. A common means of changing the frame size is measured from the center of the bottom bracket (Axis of the rods are attached to) the center of the intersection of the top tube and seat tube. Even more useful is to provide the standover height of the bike. The best way to measure standover height is go over the bike and be with your feet flat on the floor and back against the nose of the seat. Measure from the floor to the top the top tube in front of your body. Wheels in most mountain bikes are 27 x something. Look for a name in the tire sidewall 27 x indicating whatever. This is the size of the wheel. Also since the case of a man or woman's bicycle. Hope this helps.
