How difficult will this job be? rear main seal is shot and leaking oil everywhere .. I'm tired of it .. I love this little truck and it works great, apart from the leak .. I can understand the off-road and dunes sand with the top down and it works better than the ATV is …
It's a nice work a lot, but not too difficult if you know what you are doing and have the right tools. You basically have to disconnect driveshaft, unbolt supports transmission and disconnect cables and linking, unbolt tranny engine and remove the transmission or goal to give space to replace the board. A mechanic will charge about $ 250 to $ 350 labor to do the job. Since tranny you got out, it's a good idea to replace the pump seal before transsexual.
