Dune Buggy (Sand Rail) made street legal?
Well, I've been thinking about building my own buggy for a while now, and I've been looking at things at the moment of legally able to mount it on the street. i felt would be the construction of mine, I could modify it to have brake lights front lights back lights .. etc. So if I had all the safety requirements, is it possible for me to review it, or what they do .. and get some plates for it and be able to walk in the streets? Because if I invest my money in it, will not have the money for a car: o I'd rather have this over a car (much funnier) only need sure I can get places with it and not have to worry about being arrested .. >. <I live in Oregon, if that helps.
Usually you will have lights, taillights and brake lights, turn signals, speedometer, horn, windshield wipers and seat belts. All these issues must be DOT certified.
