I have a sand track that needs a motor I have a swing axle trans 4cylinder want to use a chevy or v6?

Whare dose anyone know to get an adapter kit. I have one for a nissan motor l b 20 but i cannot find parts to repair it. just need a piston rod and want to keep it water-cooled, has a nissan motor in it now. I like Chevys know how to work them and I can get parts at any parts store for chiep but if I can find a vw with 90-150 hp chiep strength to 200-400 $ please let me know.

Dude, stay away from things water-cooled. Finding a good type IV engine of an old bus, 411, 412, or a Porsche 912 or 914. All you have to do is change the pilot bearing on the steering wheel to adjust to the trans and you're all set. Type IV comes out box at about 80 HP, 1700, and can drill up to 2400 without losing reliability. Add a pair of 44mm carbs and you're all set.
