I have 14 years and I will try to build a go kart at home because I'm tired of my lane of sand and I want to drive something I did. I am looking for pieces that are easy to install and use, but are also high quality parts because they do not settle for less … (I'm a KTM) need a list of parts that are compatible. I would also like independent suspension … My biggest concern is the engine. I need something very powerful, not a 5 hp lawn vertical shaft mower engine. Since you're only 14, I assumed that they have no experience welding. So it's better to go buy kart kits that provide the basic parts as instructed. As for the suspension and the remainder will be added on their own, but it would be difficult to find how to add suspension through google. This will give a base before building a kart from scratch.
