As for the purchase of a maxi-scooter (Australia) – I read many reviews and opinions but no one offers the economy of new information. I agree that the sizes of people and conditions the road would mean a variation in accuracy, but I really want to know what to expect. I will buy my scooter in January 08 and would welcome any information in making my choice – I realize the lower the cc the better the economy, but I limit myself to the 5 previous models.
50 to 65 miles per gallon is what I see people getting on these scooters. The way you use the accelerator has a significant impact and can add or subtract on 5mpg. The SilverWings are the worst for mileage, and so far they are not fuel injected. I know no one with the new models of FI, sorry can not help with that.
