Motorcycle Sales Scoot Along With the new wave riders
In Virginia, the weather has turned beautiful, suddenly a lot of rain to large amount of heat and sun in April and ends in May. You see a couple of days to reach over 90 degrees on the thermometer has risen rapidly – perhaps some indication that a very hot summer ahead. While some statistics may show that sales of motorcycles in general had a success last year – Establish a 7.2% from 2007 according to the Motorcycle Industry Council (ICC)) – compare this decline to the drop in the automotive industry, where Japanese manufacturers high on average a fall of 12.3% and the top U.S. manufacturers an average of an alarming and job-cutting 24.7% decline in sales. All this leads to my second theory. With the new waves and the circles of riders are new waves and the circles of peer pressure. Come man, you get. Everyone does. You know you want. Are you afraid? Okay, maybe the peer pressure I'm talking about is not exactly the same stage after the special school, but we live in a society where many feel the pressure to keep up with neighbors and are easily pushed by the influence of others.
In a roundabout way, I'm trying to shed light on a current situation. Motorcycles, especially used motorcycles are moving. With a lot of new pilots graduating on a weekly basis people are looking at this time for a proper motorcycle. While many are able to to continue buying new, which is also great for our economy, many people are cutting back. I submit to you that now is an excellent time for those who can upgrade to do and put your "old" bike on the market. Because what started as a response to rising gas prices has become the fever motorcycle. Bicycles, tricycles, pigs, motorcycles … whatever, there is someone out there looking for her. Is anybody out there looking to beat the heat and "join the band" in a revival of the motorcycle that is sweeping the nation. So take advantage of the market and sell your bike. It's time for an upgrade.
