When is the best time to add copepods?
I just got one scooter blenny the other day and eating food prepared (thanks the EPA for training him!), but had to to supplement their diet a bit and I heard the pods were large to provide good nutrition. Also I have an ocellaris clownfish and blue girl, so I'd like to add at a time when they're not eating. Should I add that at night, or when it would The best time to add the pods without my other fish gulping down? I bought the line pods, which arrived today all alive, but could not afford a refuge / board a lot of pods for now and have plenty of live rock, but if that fails, I'll make a shelter:)
The night is best. The pile of pods is a good idea, because all the fish eat them as soon as they see them. You probably have to replace the pods regularly to keep your number. Also may want to order some Amphopods.
