Engine problem with 91 Polaris Snowmobile Indy 500?
This sled mine works very well with a slight low-end swamp, but it works very well at the top. When I've been traveling for a while and has no power left idle and if I lift the track and spin it, it will work properly again. I checked my crank seals, both MAG and PTO side and are not leaking. My jet and the needles are set correctly. Although I saw that I have a bit of a leak antifreeze on my side of the piston mag, but it seems that leak outside. It seems that seeps into the interior. I have some experience in this area, but this has me sled a bit perplexed. Any idea or suggestion? Thank you. (I'm writing this for my husband!)
I find you have to do bogging do with the air intake. I had a problem similar with an engine (or other non-snowmobile) and fixed by simply adjusting the idle. This could be the reason for the small / no rest energy and low-end bogging. You could try to bring your downtime to just a bit to see if that fixes it, but apart from that experience and talking to notify them.
