Why my computer crash with RAM running at 667 MHz?
Messages:: Vista 32-bit PCCHIPS P53G (Motherboard) 6400 Super Talent 2GB 800MHz Q6600 Quad NVIDIA 7800 GTX My motherboard supports up to 667 MHz RAM, but when running at 667 MHz it crashes. It runs fine at 533 MHz Why not work at 667 MHz?
I guess the operating system or any other functionally regular system needs that much RAM to run, and when you are running 533, the operating system is using the additional RAM, pushing it at 667 or close, and when you try and convert up to 667, the boom, the overhead is not enough RAM to run any otherwise.
