Technic Quad Bike
Problem with Mini Quad, possibly to do with power.?
I have a Mini Quad (50cc) and I wanted it to work so he could sell. I bought 2 new batteries, one for this one and one for another and still nothing happens, but the battery on the other is fine. So basically I have a battery new, but nothing happens when I try to start it, start the engine without lights and not even turn around. My first guess was a problem with the wiring, but I'm not too good with the technical side of things. Can anyone help me or give me guidelines of what to do next? It is a Quad Dinli Dino 50cc. The power light does not illuminate after which followed a new battery. (Yes, it is the battery on the right) The bike has not been used for a couple of years, for what you believe is worth spending money to fix and sell or should I sell as spare parts and "repairs?
Is there a fuse fitted? Check all fuses. Is the battery fully charged? Have you tried to swap the two batteries between the two bikes? Check the ground connection as Jason suggested. After making I check to see if you go to a live feed in the power switch. If not, would have to trace the wiring to the battery or fuse box to see where you can reach a.
