can i put power brakes on my vw rail buggy?
i have a street legal rail with a vw engine and i would like to try disk brakes all around with a power brake booster.the disk brakes i can find pretty quick but the booster is where i’m having trouble.
on regular autos,you get your brake booster to work from your vacume on your intake manifold.is there any spot on a vw intake to run the vacume line and will there be enough to work?
Tough call there, I looked around but didn’t find much about it.You’re in the area where you’ll have to adapt something to make it work.
As far as I can tell, there’s no aftermarket kit to adapt to your master cylinder.You could try taking an existing master cylinder/booster combo and adapting it to your rail.Or just deal with the brakes as they are.
