Thinking of buying a motorcycle in Thailand?

Hello everyone …. I wonder what country has the best exchange rates (I'm in Canada) and then buy a sports bike r1 yamaha honda CBR something and then send it back to Canada. I wonder about the legalities and also shipping fees.Also customs which country has the best exchange rate? Any help would be great thanks to all …………

Not sure if it's a good idea to shop just in all the world for a particular bike. First, the quality may not be the same. Second, the tax system are different from country to country. I had experience importing car for my own use and found that Toyota in Indonesia and Thailand are different. In Thailand, the quality is a bit low, because it is about 95% of local content, but can be a little cheaper. I imported Honda of Japan, and saw that it was very good compared to quality in Thailand and Indonesia. If you are buying these particular model of bike that is made in Thailand, would undoubtedly be cheaper to buy in Japan. Do a lot of research so can a disappointment.
